OUR PRINCIPLES
Over fifteen years of practice, we've noticed that most buildings succeed at one or two things and fall short on the rest. Some are visually striking but poorly thought through. Others are well-planned but forgettable. A few are beautifully detailed but built on a borrowed idea.
We think a building should work in all these ways at once — for the people who live or work in it, not just for the photograph. These five principles are how we try to make that happen on every project.
Our building should be unmistakably yours. Not a variation of something done before — something designed for this site, this brief, and no one else. We don't have a signature style we apply to every project. We start from scratch each time.
Every decision has a reason. The way light enters a room, how the entrance feels, what you see when you first walk in. We don't default to what's standard or what's quick. Nothing here is accidental.
Every recommendation we make is backed by research, analysis, and the best tools available — including AI. We explore more options than most practices before settling on a direction. You get decisions with reasoning behind them, not just a designer's gut feeling.
Trends date. We design for how a building feels in twenty years, not how it looks in this year's photos. Good architecture outlasts the moment it was built in.
Great architecture starts with understanding who you are — your life, your priorities, what you actually want to build. We listen first. The design comes from that, not from what's won awards recently.

Vineeth T Kannoth
Principal Architect
Vineeth T Kannoth is the founder and Principal Architect of VIVID. He has over 15 years of practice experience across commercial, healthcare, and residential projects, with a postgraduate degree from the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture in London — one of the most respected architecture schools in the world. VIVID works at the concept stage — the point where spatial decisions carry the most consequence and are least often given enough thought. The studio combines research-led design thinking with AI as a working design tool, not a shortcut. Clients come to VIVID when they want a project to be genuinely considered, not just delivered.
Rajiv Babu
Senior Architect
Rajiv Babu is an architect, urbanist, and avid traveler who currently serves as a Senior Architect at VIVID. His design philosophy is rooted in a deep appreciation for the dialogue between built form and the urban fabric—a perspective shaped by his diverse experiences across the Indian subcontinent.
Abhay Das
Junior Architect
Abhay Das is an emerging architectural professional and a recent graduate who joined VIVID in June 2025. Bringing a fresh perspective and a keen eye for contemporary design, Abhay is dedicated to exploring how thoughtful architecture can enhance daily lived experiences.
